This application allows you to gather data from your Home Energy Monitor. You can further analyse the data and get alerted via email, SMS & Twitter, when energy consumption meets certain pre-set parameters. Easily discover your Home Energy Profile! Learn to change your usage habits, to reduce waste and save money. Quantify the benefit (or otherwise) of switching tariffs, installing energy efficient appliances based on your actual consumption. Use the alerts to keep your finger on the pulse of the heartbeat of your home!
Some of the features of this software that we particularly like are:
Values for the individual phases in a three-phase supply are displayed as well as total consumption. Personal consumption target thresholds can be set and when exceeded a red/amber/green alert is displayed. Hourly totals for the last month. Charts can be printed and data can be exported to Excel for further analysis. User-defined billing periods can be set, to calculate power usage in a certain time period. Alerts can be based on different critera ("greater than", "less than", "equal to", "not equal to"). Alerts can be sent to Twitter. Further destinations are to be added.

Google PowerMeter is a free electricity usage monitoring tool, that provides you with information on how much electricity your home is consuming, helping you to save money on energy costs. Current Chart : Free
This software is for Windows users only. It uses a Firebird database. An application recording ALL input from the Home Energy Monitor every six seconds. The software is in a state of on-going development by the creator Kerry Neighbour of Brisbane, NSW Australia.

C2 Terminal : Free
C2 Terminal has been developed by the manufacturer of the Home Energy Monitor we offer for sale. Created as a utility programme, the C2 Terminal is designed for users to test connectivity to the serial port of Current Cost monitors and view the raw XML data in a low-fi style.
